ToolTiers
Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Here is how ToolTiers makes money — plainly, because you deserve to know before you click anything.
We earn from some links
ToolTiers earns a commission when you buy through some of the outbound retailer links on this site — for example, the "View" buttons on a tool's page. It costs you nothing extra: the price is the same whether or not you use our link.
It never affects our rankings
This is the part that matters most. Affiliate commissions never influence our scores, tiers, or recommendations. Every ranking on ToolTiers comes from published specifications and job-fit research — how a tool actually performs at the work in front of you — never from paid placement. No manufacturer or retailer can buy a better position. If the right answer is a tool we earn nothing on, that's the answer you'll get.
Not every link is an affiliate link
Some links are plain references with no commission attached. Where a link is an affiliate link, we mark the buying section with a short note so you always know.
FTC disclosure
In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines, ToolTiers discloses that it has affiliate relationships with retailers and affiliate networks (such as impact.com) and may be compensated for qualifying purchases made through links on this site.
